The Fairy Doors of Ann Arbor
Ann Arbor, Michigan, is apparently home to quite a few wee folk. How else would you explain the mysterious "fairy doors" that can be found all over town? (Tucked next to an otherwise unexceptional fireplace, perched high above a market entrance, or hidden in a library bookshelf.) No two tiny entrances are ever the same. They're all decorated in their own fashion, and sometimes you can even get a glimpse of the rooms beyond.
How lucky are the six-year-olds of Ann Arbor?
Check out dozens of fairy doors here, and read about the mastermind behind them here.

He's a genius!!!! I wish there were fairy doors here
Those faerie houses are so adorable! I would <3 to have one in my house.
I wish i lived in Ann Arbor, MI. But it is soo sad how people vandalize these houses that somebody spent weeks to make. If i lived there i would stake out those houses and catch the people who tear up those doors!

Is cute and nice :)
I don't think I'll be commenting much in the near future, because I have just decided to move to Ann Arbor; and it will take a while to get settled. ;)
That's so sweet. I'm gonna make some for my room.
Sounds kinda kooky to me.

We should all go around sticking fairy doors with the irregular logo on them in random places!
Not. Fair. Parker has -nothing-. Well, Parker Days and a farmer's market, but that's it. ...I should put a fairy door on my house. *gasp* I should put several, right next to each other, like a wee folk motel of sorts!
I really need to go to bed right now. XD

If anyone sees reports on mysterious fairy doors appearing all over southern Minnesota, blame me!
Dante'sInferno: Don't feel too bad. My town doesn't even have a farmer's market.
Holly: Agreed!
