The Bizarre Case of the Floating Feet

Over the past ten months, residents who live along the coast of British Columbia have made a number of gruesome discoveries. Five, to be exact. In August of 2007, a human foot encased in a running sneaker washed up on the shore of Jedediah Island. Four more feet were to follow. Each one had once belonged to an unknown male, and all were wearing sneakers. But perhaps the most chilling detail--they were all RIGHT feet.

Where are the feet coming from? No one knows. Perhaps they belong to people who've been lost at sea. Maybe it's a mortician's sick joke. Or maybe a killer is leaving his mark. All investigators know for sure is that a sixth foot that recently washed ashore was a hoax.

Want to try your hand at an explanation? Read more about the case at newsweek.com.

Hey Kirsten! :) Okay that's really weird...right feet...odd. Oh! I know something that would most likely disgust everyone here that hasn't already been disgusted on your blog lol...but I am not gonna post it here. You may have heard of it. I just uh watched it and yeah. I am not easily disgusted...this video wasn't even that bad for me but I wouldn't recommend eating right after (or before)seeing it. Yeah. I am just wondering who would do such a thing...omg.

That is so Dexter.

I hope it's just natural deaths. I guess the feet would naturally come off as everything falls apart post-death...

Um... If the feet had no signs of any tools used on them, could it be that someone pulled them off or something?! o_o That's really hard! ... Someone has some ambitions to scare certain people by kiddnapping their relatives and pulling their right foot off!! ^^'

Woha, that is freaky. *shiver*

I' seen this movie where the killer kills people, who are all successful in their career and wear +2.00(or was it -2.00?) prescription glasses. He kills them at 12pm, 3pm, 6 pm, and the fourth murder at 9pm. (See the pattern). The detective has to find the criminal and stop his next killing before 12am. It was such a smart movie.

The Vancouver Police believe that the feet are linked to the large amount of men on the West coast who have gone missing since August 2007.

Awesome! Well, you know what I mean by that.

You know when you desperately wish that you lived closer/had a LITTLE more freedom, so that you could investigate? It's killing me! xD

It's easy to figure this one out. Just look for a bunch of angry people with no right feet. But I'm still putting my money on the mortician with a sick, sick sense of humor.

I think it's a killer... This person is probably catching people on boats and slaughtering them alive.
Okay, there's me being gross.
