Need a Day Off?

Who doesn't? Fortunately, Instructables offers some handy tips on "How to Fake Sick to Stay Home from School." Wait a second . . . I would NEVER recommend something like this. Forget I ever posted it.

Good to know! the only thing is, I rarely get sick, and my parents use those weird thermometers that you stick in your ear.

No fake fevers for me!

Kind of odd that you posted that today, because today I was home sick. ( I have the most horrid cold) I always hate missing school because it's so hard to make up all the stuff I missed. So in my opinion faking sick really is only good for getting out of gym class. Expecially when it's 0 degrees out and we are swimming in gym class(Because my hair freezes).

Hmm... now if only there was a way of faking broken bones, I'd be out of gym class in a snap!

I LOVE Ferris Bueller's Day Off! It's one of my favorites movies. :)

I could never get away with pretending I'm sick.

I really hated Mondays for a while, not because I was going back to school, but because I had one class where I sat in front of a guy who hated Mondays, so he always kicked my desk.

The only problem is that when I'm sick, my mom makes me eat this Chinese herbal stuff that's soo gross, you'd wish you weren't sick ^^'

Funny. I already knew all this stuff though. Anouther thing is, I don't really think there is a point. Unless for gym. But I wouldn't.

"Yeah, but what's the point of doing this if you have to act sick all day?" says my mother.
Hee hee. I say ditto, also, I like school!

It would never work for me because I'm home schooled so my mom would probably make me do school work in bed. LOL!

She even has me do school work when I really have a cold, so, yeah, it wouldn't work. AND, I happen to REALLY like scholl work and learning! That's why I like the Kiki books, because the characters are REALLY smart!

Dakota Blue: What was that about the cactus? Is it a quote from a book I haven't read or a movie I haven't seen? :P
