Special Rat-Related Announcement

Tonight on Monster Quest:

"Attention, New Yorkers. Recent archaeological evidence suggests that rats once grew to even more massive sizes than the ones down in the Dumpster down the block. And now it seems our own streetwise friends are mutating to become even larger-and more dangerous. This episode journeys into sewers with rodent experts and talks with those who have had first-hand experience with cat-size rats with an appetite for human flesh."

History Channel. 9PM. We will discuss in the morning.

***UPDATE***
It's scheduled for WEDNESDAY night, not Tuesday night. Sorry!

Does anyone know if they have that show on iTunes? If they do, this solves my problem. If they don't, I might have to check YouTube.

All right, cool. I've got cable, and if I finish all my school stuff, I'm probably going to be able to watch... Will watch, will record, will possibly show to sisters.

On Wednesday? YAY!!! I didn't see the post until about noon (central time) on Wednesday (today). But when something like this happens, is it possible to give earlier notice?

It was a darn good show, one of the better MonsterQuests I've watched. Of course anything that has footage of the tunnels I love automatically. I used to think I'd grow up to live there, so the tunnels have a special place in my heart. I'm a weird kid. =)

Anyway there's no proof of giant rats, just eyewitness accounts, and the skull of a prehistoric rodent like a car-sized capybara. But it's not scary without the whippy tail.

Hmm, I wonder if Norway rats and capybaras are close enough to breed. I mean ligers happen, so maybe a capybara escapes from a zoo and ends up as queen of a harem of nasty sewer rats breeding supersized offspring... a genetically unlikely scenario. ^^;

Hey, i saw that on TV! it was so sick in an awesome way! totally had me even more hooked on my belief in the shadow city. i couldn't resist- after the credits ended, i grabbed the book off my shelf and read it.... for the 8th time...in three hours.*smiles meekly* Just wanna thank Kirsten (if u read these....) for the Kiki books! I live by the rules of invisibility and such. Its changed my life- no longer am i shy and insecure! Mwahahaha! Of course, i still let ppl think i am, b/c that's the point of being dangerous- the element of surprise.
well, bye. *waves*

hey, cupcakedoll, i dunno- that capybara/rat breeding thing actually sounds pretty logical to me. then again, my sense of logic is distorted due to the fact i've fallen on my head once or twice. but for some reason, it hasn't effected my grades... anyways, i'm just sayin that its a good observation.
PS- ligers are cute =)
