Disgusting Beauty Secrets of the Geishas

There's a new skin treatment available in New York that's based on an ancient beauty secret of Japanese geishas. It's a facial that's said to make your skin brighter and clearer, thanks to one very special ingredient. Nightingale poop. And it only costs $180 a treatment!

Geishas have apparently been slathering their faces with bird poo for centuries. Fortunately, the Shizuka Spa's modern formula has been sanitized and deodorized. But why pay $180 when you can just kidnap a pigeon?

Read more here.

Very cheap, don't you agree?

And that poor girl in the other post! Even though she was fine...the picture kind of disturbed me. She looked like she was two people, except the other person was headless.:'(

ONLY $180????!!! wow, i cant imagine who would be so desperate for perfect skin. I wonder how the person who discovered this secret came up with the idea in the first place.

Lol, good thinking about the birds! (there are alot of pigeons in New York right?) I think I said this, but I'll say it again:
Back in the time of the pharaohs'n stuff, the richer women in the Middle East used *gulp* pigeon dung mixed with dye to color their hair.

This reminded me of the Phoenicians for some reason. Their name comes from a Greek work meaning "purple", and they traded... wait for it... very popular purple dye. Which sounds fine.
Except that the dye was made from the mucus in a gland of a sea snail. ^^
