This Will Be the Last Post on Ananka's Diary
Hi Everyone! As you may have noticed, I have stopped posting on Ananka's Diary. Going forward, all new posts can be read at my new blog, Bank St. Irregular. (Why did I create a new blog? Click here for the explanation.)
A few of you have told me that you have a sentimental attachment to Ananka's Diary and its black template. So I'm going to find a way to preserve it somewhere on the Kiki Strike website. But it only serve as an archive of posts from 2006-2010.
I hope you all will join me over at Bank Irregular!

;_; A day I thought would never come. :(
Farewell Ananka's diary. I knew thee little.
Mellow dramatic moment officially over.
See you all on the other blog now that this one will be a ghost town.
Haha ghost town.
Cool.
This is a bit disappointing, considering the search box on the new blog does not work. If I want to find an old post I have to search through 1000+ posts. I've tried the same search terms on this (Ananka's Diary) blog and they worked, but not on the new one. =(
Yes, the search at the new blog needs to be fixed. But there is no search function at all on Ananka's Diary. How did u find what you needed?
If you're at this URL: http://www.kikistrikeny.blogspot.com/ then there's a search box at the top of the page, which is how I navigated before. I tried the other one, but it doesn't work as well . . .
Ah, yes. Maybe it just takes a while to work properly. In the meantime, I'm not going to trash this blog, so you can always come here to search the archives.
Goodbye Ananka's Diary! Hello Bank St. Irregular. ;)
I will join you. I will follow you wherever you go!
Okay that was creepy. But it's true!
WHAT?!?!?!?!?!
Oh well... the new one will be just as good...
please leave anankas diary up, when i am feeling sad i like to read previous posts...
From the beginning:
I remember when the first Kiki Strike came out. I was in fifth grade, and the librarian recommended it to me... it was maybe a month old. I read it on vacation, and was hooked. I found the website with my friend bridget, and it gave us thrills, especially when the website graphic changed to announce a new book. I eventually became the first blog reader you ever met, and have been reading the blog FOREVER. I love you! Glad the new blog has a good purpose.
Bye bye Ananka's Diary
Falcon: Thank you. That means so much to me. And I will always remember meeting you and B. You have no idea how much it meant that two readers would drive so far to talk about Kiki. I hope you will visit the new blog. Lurk if you like, but I'm always happy to hear from you!
Hi Anaka, the story Kiki Strik about The Shadow City and the NYCMap was really interesting! Did that accually happen?
Ack, you don't need to worry about us not "joining you" on your new blog. You've got us hooked with you medley of weird, fascinating, inspiring, and disturbing stories.
I'll be sad to see this (particular) blog end, but on with the new!
(By the way, I'm slightly neophobic, so your lucky your blog is so good that I don't have some sort of psychological breakdown over this. )
I can't believe this is happening!!! =(

I haven't got the chance to read the diary, for I have just discovered your webiste Kirsten, even though I just finished reading the 2nd book. Honestly, they are my favorite books, and when I went to Rome, finding out there was an underground city, made me very excited. Sadly, my mom wouldn't take me, so its all the more reason to go back. Anyways, I hope there is another book! I need something good to read and soon.
