eeew i would never stay there i would feel way to gross to even sleep! if i ws the manager of that hotel i would not spend money on hte big flat screen but instead on cleaning :/
I've got it. The entire hotel is a hushed up crime scene. Which accounts for the eerie vibe and depressing rooms (because obviously, crime scenes are just THE happiest places to be), rickety stairs (worn out by victim and killer running up and down and up and down trying to catch/avoid the other), stained sheets and mysterious blood-like stain on wall (either the killer forgot to clean up, or he consumed some hotdogs with extra tomato sauce afterwards), the dangerous looking radiator (victim's face pressed against it as a form of torture), holes in the bedspreads (killer trying to stab the victim who's rolling around on the bed, but killer missing several times and getting the bedspread instead) and the shower curtain (the killer was actually Tarzan, but he had no vines to swing on, so instead he swung on the next closest thing - the shower curtain, but ended up breaking it)
I'm the author of the Kiki Strike book series (plus a few other things) and co-author (with Jason Segel) of the Nightmares! book series.

Harris: Excellent theory. No one ever thinks to blame Tarzan.
Harris: That's exactly what I was thinking! Only I didn't think to blame Tarzan *hangs head in shame*
