Bomb-Proof Wallpaper

Hi everyone! Another post will follow shortly after this, but I couldn't wait to put this up. They call it "bomb-proof" wallpaper, but it seems to me that it might have plenty of other uses. (The most obvious? Wallpaper for buildings in earthquake-prone areas.) Awesome.

...I now know what the inside of my house will look like.

But, really, how did they do that? Is it because of how the wallpaper is put up? Is it metal?

Still, that's amazing!

Yeah, only out here in earthquake country it is a Very Bad Idea to build Anything out of bricks, because even a little quake brings it tumbling down spectacularly. It's actually cool to watch but I would Never Ever Ever want to be in or even near a brick building in a quake, not if you paid me!

It's a cool idea though. And maybe they could use it to make the really old buildings (the ones from when they used brick) safer.

My medium-sized brother points out that the only thing holding the wallpaper up was the framework, so you need really good framework unless you want a Floppy building. Haha
