Creatures I Thought Were Mythical: Part Two

Glow worms! Disgusting and beautiful at the same time! I love these slimy little creatures. But mostly I adore the narrator of the video below. Sir David Attenborough is, in my humble opinion, one of the finest human beings to ever walk the planet. He is my all time #1 hero. How many people could stomp through bat poop, burrow under a termite mound, or go face-to-face with a bull elephant seal--and still keep their sense of humor?

See Sir David tackle the Venus Fly Trap and get attacked by a rather nasty Scottish bird. (I could watch him all day!)

Oh gross! I'd probably be quitting at the entrance of the termite mound...

By the way, why did you have Ananka go to the "Abingdon Branch" *cough nonexistent cough* of the NYPL instead of going to the Jefferson Market branch??

Jin Ai: You are so clever. heh heh. I have big plans for the Jefferson Market Branch, and I didn't want to "waste" it on a small plot point.

How did Sir David get his Venus Flytrap to eat insects?? Mine Dies faster if it eats insects! The glowworm eating the fly part looked painful... ( TT^T) Eating their prey alive... O.e ouch...

Ananka, I live in Germany, and I just wanted to know, if I sent my picture of Iris on the 4th, would it get to you in time? *please yes!*

Nellie: I'm pretty sure it will. Those Germans are pretty darn efficient. (Love that.) Plus, I have relatives in Europe and I ususally get their letters within a week. But don't worry! If it hasn't come, we'll figure something out.

sffh: Yeah, I had two.. My first one died 'cuz my dad killed it, the second one died 'cuz it ate too many insects. One huge spider, a smaller one, and a fly I think. Then, a few days, later it died.
