Is This a Doorway on Mars?
New NASA photos have revealed what looks like a "man-made" door on the side of a mountain on the surface of Mars. Of course the experts claim that it's merely a geological formation, but I like to think that it's the entrance to the Martian's secret underground lair.
You can see more pictures, and read a fascinating post about the possiblity of sending humans to Mars, on The Daily Galaxy blog.

that is pretty cool. MAybe that's where Hades is. I always pictured Hades Underworld to be on mars instead of under our shoes. I have no idea why. Maybe that's where Euridice is trapped, and Orpheus is at the door, singing and crying. My o my, what a gruesome future he holds. Until death, that is.
Interesting (and bizarre thoughts), MKB and UDN2KMN.
I am sorry- I tried to think of something bizzarre, but I couldn't!
Has anyone tried to open it yet?
wooooooooooooow
i no this is off topic but my mom boght this michael jackson cd you no any cures?
Poor Eurydice xP. It'd suck to be on Mars. You'd think she'd get cold...
(that's one of my favorite Greek myths)
It would be so cool if it was a real man-made "door-way!"
Sorry, please refresh my memory who is Euridice? udn2kmn, U have a wild, strange imagination, I like that. I have one too, but it really creeps me out most of the time.
Its one of my fav greek myths, too. I also love the one about aphrodite and hermes. Athena's cool, too.
Euridice was orpheus's fiance. right after she got married, she was bit by a snake and died. orpheus went looking for her and almost got her out of the underworld, but not quite. she was sent back and he eventually died of a broken heart and was reunited with euridice after death.
That is pretty Fasinating. Although i dont believe in aliens, i do find it pretty cool.

Sorry nothing weird to say.
Well obviously the Tardis parked there and then a Martian wind blew it over making a rectangular depression.
...nah, my geeking cannot compare with udon'tned's cool thought.
I wonder what it is! Maybe there used to be life on Mars, beyond like microbes I mean.
