The Floating Schoolhouse and More!





If you've been reading this blog for a while, you've already seen pictures of the Chinese schoolhouse located inside a cave. Now you can marvel at a floating school (shown above), an underground school, and a school made from shipping containers! Check them out here.

Awesome. That reminds me of the floating island, although, unfortunately, it's not self sufficient.
The kids who get to learn there are really lucky!

huh....the sign on the school says: “this construction was funded by the embassy of united kingdom through the national fund for vietnamese children.” I wonder why they would fund a floating school??

this website: http://www.subsurfacebuildings.com/default.asp has a whole list of undergrond buildings in the US. I don't know if you already know about this site. I thought it was pretty interesting.
