I am loving the monsterskin rug! It is just the kind of thing that belongs in my home. trust me, there are wierder things there...parents, to be exact.

Have you heard about the crystal skull that Anna Le Guillon Mitchell-Hedges found in 1926? It's kind of strange. Here's more info:

Strange Mysteries from around the world by Seymour Simon (really great book even though it's really small, I've read a few times and really liked it, there's only a small article about the crystal skull but the book has a lot of good stories about unusual events)
Also I recommend the Stargate SG-1 episode titled Crystal Skull. It doesn't really have anything much to do with the skull stuff but it's a really good episode (the second best of the whole series, the absolute best being Window of Opportunity)

Elizabeth: You are my kinda girl! What amazing stuff you've dug up! I've heard of the Tunguska Incident, but I don't know much about it. I'm going to use your links to do some serious research. As for the crystal skull--I've been to the ruins where the skull was found. Very interesting. I posted about it in June of 2007. Have you heard about the next Indian Jones movie: Indian Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull? I wonder if it has anything to do with the skull Anna discovered.
I can't wait for the Indiana Jones. I first read that they were making it 3 years ago, the wait is almost over.
