Any of you guys live near Decatur, Georgia? If so, come on down to the Decatur Book Festival this weekend! I'll be there on Sunday, September 5th, talking about my many butt-kicking heroines.
We're not in Decatur, but are in Austin and see that you are coming to the Texas Book Festval. My daughter, an Austin Irregular will be excited to see you'll be there. Maybe she can chat with you about Kiki Strike Camp as an insider....
Sorry, I was just testing if I could comment. And I can! Yay! Yay! Yay! Yay! Yay! Yay! Yay! Yay! Yay! Yay! Yay! Yay! Yay! Yay! Yay! Yay! Yay! Yay! Yay! Yay! Yay! Yay! Yay! Yay! Yay! Yay! Yay! Yay! Yay! Yay! Yay! Yay! Yay! Yay! Yay! Yay! Yay! Yay! Yay! Yay! Yay! Yay! Yay! Yay! Yay! Yay! Yay! Yay! Yay! Yay! Yay! Yay! Yay! Yay! Yay! Yay! Yay! Yay! Yay! Yay! Yay! Yay! Yay! Yay! Yay! Yay! Yay! Yay! Sure, only on my dad's computer, but still! I wish I lived in Decatur. Well, maybe just for while you were there. Hey, and just out of curiosity, did you ever consider making kind-of like a Kiki Strike miniseries? Like, each one would be from the point of view of a different Irregular? Sorry, just curious. And what's Kiki Strike Camp? Is it just a phrase or an actual place? Wow. That was a long comment. But I suppose it was mostly made up of Yay! 's. If you read all of them, you're much more patient than I could ever hope to be. I'll shut up now.
Kiki strike camp??? Please come to north new jersey! (particularly in Morris county?) I saw the enternals every were! I have to finish jack kerouacs on the road first grr it's bugging me!
Yeah, Decatur is probably more exciting than where I live in NY. But I never even liked new York city. It gives me a headache. Though I do like the obelisk in central park. My Latin class took a field trip there. Well actually it was to the metropolitan mueseum of art. I love my Latin class. We also took pictures of uplift. And saw a death eater walking some dogs. Or he was a ninja.
i live on the other side of the country *sadsadsad*. my friend went to the east coast, and everyone thought she had an accent.....but neither of us have accents. wish i could come (any book festival with a picture like that has to be good. added to that is that theres at least one really good author coming (you). well, on the bright side for me is that ill be able to meet suzanne collins in november. but thats november. this comment has been really random. i guess im in a talky mood today. like always. i should stop while i still can, this is getting long. i guess i've lots to say. *sigh*
My towns too small to gave a book festival. All we have is a supermarket, a baskin robins/ dunkin donuts, a pizza place, a nail place, a wine store, a card store, P.O, and dog place. Literally. In the same shopping center.
Well, actually that's just my part of westchester. Perhaps other places r more exciting. Though today I had to wear a cape for field hockey. That was exciting. Never mind, my school is in a different town. :( :D
I feel sorry about pestering where you should go, when you've already made this commitment to Georgia. Lucky the! I hope you have fun, and meet lots of irregulars. That being said, I'm up in the good old 802 (also known as Vermont), and the only authors we get are the VT authors. Don't get me wrong-we've got some pretty good writers here (Katherine Paterson for instance). But other than that, nobody comes here. So we would all love it if you could come visit us! (Of course that's the same everywhere). I think you'd like it, and it's rather close to NYC! Thanks for reading (and considering). CS
on a totally unrelated but fairly interesting note, on the discoverynews website theres some neat news: amelia earharts final resting place believed found and there is a new type of early human has been discovered, and nicknamed X-women. there was also a list of the top ten spy gadgets of all time. i liked the bulgarian umbrella and lipstick pistol. those just all sounded like things that you would post on here and find interesting, you post about a lot of topics like that...
I'm Chris' daughter, Emily. I've been to Kiki Strike camp a couple summers ago and it was definitely a great spend of my time. (they even hired men in suits & shades to tail us!!!)
I'm the author of the Kiki Strike book series (plus a few other things) and co-author (with Jason Segel) of the Nightmares! book series.
This is my old blog. If you want to know what's happening now, check out kirstenmillerbooks.com!

I can't believe it, you're coming to the bookstore that first introduced me to the Irregulars! I can't wait to meet you!!! =D
Yahoo!!! I just moved to Dunwoody--literally 3 weeks ago--and you're going to be there yay!
I wonder, out of the people who will be coming to the KM talk, how many are Irregulars? And will it be obvious who they are?
Mushroom Cloud- We must live in the same town or something! Haha.

So whatever happened to the shirts that won the shirt contest? Are we ever going to be able to buy them?
