Japanese Giants
I know I've written about this subject before, but I thought this video was particularly interesting. I've always been fascinated by Japanese giant salamanders. Perhaps it's because North America's only giant salamanders can be found in the mountains where I lived as a kid. The Appalachian Mountain salamanders are called hellbenders, which has to be the greatest name ever given to a creature. Sadly, thanks to pollution, they may not be around much longer.

ugh i hate it when nature is ruined its so beautiful but it gets destroyed to build so many big cities :/
Several animal species go exctinct each day. I is a nice change for us to save some of them
It is so sad when man-made things destroy ecosystems and the animals living in them:(
In case my last comment didnt post, I think its so sad when humans destroy the habitats of endangered species:(
Ugh. Isn't that typical. Scientists captured one. As phase 3 we should come with ideas to save the salamanders. Hey! Here's an idea. Okay, this starts as soon as possible. How would you feel if you were that salamander? Okay. Make your family recycle. I know, I know. Doesn't sound like much but if you get your family to recycle then they'll be doing something that you said (or asked) to do. If they say no, haul soda cans up to the recycling company and come back with money! that'll get their attention. If still no then make posters of it! Post flyers around your town. Do something to save our world or else that movie 2012 may come true........
my city doesn't even have a recycling program...
Holy guacamoly!!! (escuse my french) ;D
Those are huge!
Anonymous 2:55; Oh. Well.....you could try using less energy and water by turning off lights, using re-usable water bottles, that sort of thing.
Go Mori-sensei! Woohoo!
How come everyone is all gung-ho for polar bears, but not giant salamanders?
