Attention Library People
I didn't realize so many librarians (and granddaughters of librarians) read this blog! So here's the deal. If you invite me to visit your library, I will try to come. For free. See, without libraries, I would have turned to a life of crime. So I feel I owe the librarians of the world for keeping me out of jail.

Hehe. I live really close to the new Mulberry St. branch but I know the Jefferson Mkt. would be easier for you...heheh.
By the way, what does "officially" mean?
Like, do we get to harass you, ask endless questions, and then follow you home?
Hehe. Oops. I mean...xD
Sure, why not? ;)

i live on the west coast..............Damn. lol
That library pic looks so COOL! The Otis Library just got remodeled. It is very nice now, (much more than the one here in MA!)
Oh, the library is in a different state than I am, so you wouldn't be able to see the havoc that I have wrought in my own town!
ah...that would be so cool. except i live in florida.....thats kinda far away isnt it???
Also, have you heard of Michael Palin???? He's a really popular in the UK, he is on TV a lot and he's an explorer. well a few months ago i was in Oxford and he was visiting a bookstore and i literally missed his visit by MINUTES.......i was gutted.
um, seriously? even if we work in a tiny queens library that has pretty spotty program attendance at best? because i would so love to host you if the answer is "yes."

If you come to my library you can stay in my house! I will gladly give up my room and go crash in Nellie's. Heeheehee Then you won't need a hotel.
Im a library person! my usual average of books read a week is around 5. I love books! and libraries!but alas, the only library i usually go to is at my school, but luckily i go to ... to... well its official S.S (short for s.s.s.s) business. yes, well, very good. Im afraid I will have to remove any memory you have of this...
I know Atlanta is far away, but if you come nearby, could you pretty-please-with-sugar-on-top come to either Little Shop of Stories, my very favorite book store, or the Decatur Library? That would be amazing!!!!
Talking in the Library: You're always welcome! It would be fun--that's for sure.
Hazel: In Germany? ;)
Anonymous: You might be surprised to learn that I'm in Atlanta fairly often. Next time, I'll check those place out!
I live like 20 blocks from the Queens Central Library but if you come I'll totally make it.
HI!!! I'm a huge fan of your books, and website. Can you come to the Highland Park Public Library? Its right by Chicago, you can look it up. My mom even said we could treat you to Chicago's famous deep dish pizza!
My mom's email is kgerber@mindspring.com
Thank You, and keep writing! (please)
Anonymous: Mmm. Deep dish pizza! It's possible--I do come to Chicago from time to time. (I was just there on Wednesday.) I'll drop you a note the next time I have a trip planned. Thanks for the invite!
