Okay, so you guys didn't buy the last video. Here's one that's definitely not a hoax. You gotta love this amphibian. He may be small, but he won't take nothin' from nobody.

Um, it's a frog. Did you know that in a common froggy disease, a frog will grow up to 20 new limbs. There are some that are scraggly masses, while others are huge, feeding off of the frog. Muahahahaha!

Is it HISSING? do i even need to say it anymore, ananka? Hey, at least this one didn't give me nightmares. On the other hand, you have poisoned my impression of frogs!

What is that person's problem? Is he trying to get the frog to bite his whole arm off?
Once I was bitten by our pet turtle when I was feeding it a worm. I guess my finger looked like the worm.

That frog was cute. Did you see its big grinning mouth? Somehow it reminds me of a two year old.

The noise it makes is so loud! And yeah, I think it's kind of creepy, although usually I adore little amphibians.

OK. That is really strange! That reminds me of a really weird and TRUE story! (I'm full of true stories, aren't I?)

Well... once I was on vacation in Michigan. We rented a cottage by a lake (Dragon Lake). We got to use a canoe so one time we were canoing and we saw a fawn sitting by the water (so cute!) We watched the fawn for a while and noticed that there a frog ON THE FAWN'S BACK!!! Seriously, I'm not joking. It was so weird! After a while the fawn got up and walked and the frog stayed on! It was so STRANGE! I was canoing with my mom then so we rowed back to the cottage and picked up John (yep, Mr. H.) He was as amazed as we were.

A question (or 3) about the T-shirts:

How much is shipping?
Is there tax?
How long does it take to ship?

Thanks!

MK--my pleasure. You've made a great start.

Spring--thanks for your story. I wonder how the frog got up there?

As for the t-shirts. Shipping is $3. No tax. And they should get there in about three days.

wow, reread the Empress (again) it definatly had a different vibe then Shadow City, I think I liked Shadow City better in terms of the mystery and newness/meeting the characters for the first time and seeing them all be introduced to the story, but the The Empress, was like homecoming were you get to catch up with old friends and are so happy to see them again even if there lives are in danger, *especailly* if the lives are in danger so you feel like you can't it down until you know everythings okay and will be good. Yeah long coment should just used as post instead :)

OOOO- I agree, I have been on Lauren Myracles site plenty of times-(i have read eleven) and Kirsten and Ananka are so much more cool. and mysterious.

Yeah, Lauren is FANTASTIC. We may be more mysterous, but she's super funny and unbelievably nice. And she's great to see in person, too. I heard her read from her latest book (Twelve) a couple of weeks ago, and I was laughing and squirming at the same time.

I read that book!(twelve) it was hilarious! I was enjoying it so much I finished it in one night! The part when she talks about the kid in the younger brothers class who makes the weird face! Or how Dina freaks out about the kitty meow mix, or whatever the heck its called.
sorry. I was having a little serendipity with myself. Ananka, have you ever met J.K. Rowling?

ps= I love your books way better than anything though! The irregulars are like my best friends now.

That's wonderful, anonymous! But no, I've never met JK. But we have the same publisher and I hear she's extremely nice.

You're probably right about Lauren's latest book, IM. She seems to write REALLY fast.

I JUST realized who you're talking about! My mom got Twelve from the library for me (she's a librarian). It just clicked that you were talking about that author! Should I read Eleven before Twelve or doesn't it matter?
